What is Beej Patakha?
CRAFT: The beej patakhas are inspired by the traditional craft of making toys of terracotta. These are handcrafted and hand-moulded.
ENVIRONMENT: It is an initiative to save Mother Earth. Diwali is the most celebrated festival of Inda. Diwali is celebrated by bursting crackers which create air and noise pollution and thus create an unhealthy environment for present and future generations. Beej Patakha is an initiative by The Terra Co. to celebrate the festival of DIWALI in the traditional but different way by not bursting polluting crackers but planting the Beej Patakhas to grow more and more trees which helps both in celebrations as well as decreasing pollution levels.
SOCIETY: The Beej Patakhas are handcrafted by artisans and women of India.
